History: Marmalade was discovered in a field by our friends, the caretakers of Mocha. He was only a couple of months old. He and Mocha became playmates, and we adopted them at the same time. Marmalade was 4 months old then. Because he was abandoned or lost as a kitten, Marmie became threatened very easily. He was extremely affectionate and loving, the neediest of the Three M's. He was also the least social. (Most visitors to our house had only our word that we had an orange cat. And pictures.)
Marmalade lived a good, long life, and we cherished him every moment. He passed away suddenly with heart problems on December 1, 2004. Absolutely in charge of the household, he rules us all still from heaven, where he sits at the right hand of God.
A special celebration of Marmalade's life can be found here. The Three M's' Cat Page will remain a testament to his life as long as cyber space exists.
